This episode is very special to me because I had the opportunity to interview a woman who brought me so much light when my mother was dying of cancer fourteen years ago. Barbara Karnes's work helped me and my family through this intense process in which we needed support and guidance. Later, Barbara's work motivated me to become a thanatologist, death doula, and educator.
I hope that this episode brings light to all of our audience.

Barbara- I very much enjoy your blogs, vlogs and podcasts. Your materials are used in our hospice and are extremely helpful. This particular podcast recording ends at 13 min. I suspect there is a full version available somewhere? Where can I find it?

Hello Linda, Thank you for brining it to our attention that for some reason the YouTube link doesn’t work after minute 13. We have gone ahead and uploaded the full podcast episode (audio) and this wonderful discussion can be listened to in full.
Also, Quiet Oaks Hospice House looks amazing. Thank you for using our resources to support and educate your patients and families. Blessings! Barbara
