I showed this DVD, New Rules for End-of-Life Care, several years ago at an In-Service and used it again very recently. It is so relevant and volunteers appreciate receiving this information in a way that is easy to understand. I am thinking of purchasing the digital version for our community program, as a way to raise awareness in the end of life process. Barbara is an amazing woman ... it was lovely to see how she has continued to share her many insights about the end of life. Her presentation was for me, a good reminder of how the end of life is so much the same and yet so different for everyone. Also, as I age, and, because of my work as a hospice volunteer and then director, I am asked, more and more for advice about care for a family member at the end of life. I am grateful that I haven't forgotten how to "be there", when asked.
