From the moment we are born we begin to die. We are born, we experience and then we die. All the space between birth and death is living yet we tend to segregate out our final experience as different from all that has preceded it. Really, the part of our life that is associated with dying, that final challenge we will all be presented with whether it is a fast or gradual death, will be met in the same way we have dealt with any other challenge in our life. How we face our impending death can be the time we do our finest work or our most terrifying challenge. The experience of dying a gradual death is an important, integral part of each life. It is an opportunity to write our final chapter, to define the ending of our story.
