Hale to the End-of-Life Workers!!
Barbara is an amazing woman ... it was lovely to see how she has continued to share her many insights about the end of life. Her presentation was for me, a good reminder of how the end of life is so much the same and yet so different for everyone. Also, as I age, and, because of my work as a hospice volunteer and then director, I am asked, more and more for advice about care for a family member at the end of life. I am grateful that I haven't forgotten how to "be there", when asked.
New Rules for End of Life
I am a Hospice Client Relations Coordinator I have worked in Hospice Care for over 27 years and have learned so much over the years from Babara. I use this video for training new staff, for inservices at contacted facilities and CANNOT say enough good about it! Everyone in every walk of life should watch this! I would give if more stars if that were an option.

Video of New Rules for End of Lufe
Explained loss of interest in eating, the need for more sleeping and the decline of social interaction. Very well done. Thanks!

Hi Joanne, thank you. Those three areas are important to monitor as end of life approaches. Blessings! Barbara
Information we all will need, no matter where we are located
This is a resource I used when managing a Community Education program for Mission Hospice. The information included makes such a difference to families, and people who are navigating end-of-life issues. We've recently begun training incarcerated people on end of life and palliative care. FOr homework last week they were assigned this DVD. The response was overwhelmingly positive. In clear, easy-to-understand language Barbara walks us through what end of life looks like, what the dying process looks like, and how to support someone on this journey. THANK YOU!

Like everything she puts out, this is also GREAT!
Very helpful for staff, family members, patients and anyone involved with the person who is going through the stages of the dying process.
