Michelle shared this on the End of Life and Bereavement Facebook group. Michelle McFetridge Rolniak February 27 at 7:52am Barbara Karnes, wow. I just watched your DVD, "Care for the Caregiver". It made me realize that after 29 years as a RN including 11 of those years working in hospice, that I'm doing a lot of things right, and some things I need to improve for myself. I find this work an honor, privilege and a blessing and at a times actually find joy along the way. Thank you for pointing out things in your DVD that confirm ways to stay healthy in all areas of my life so that I can be at my best for my patients. Thank you also to all of your previous patients who have provided you with the experiences and the knowledge that you so generously share with others. So many families and caregivers and sometimes patients ask me "why am I still here", or "what could possibly be the purpose for all of this"? For your patients who asked you the same questions, it's obvious that their "final act of living" contributed to a legacy provided through your expertise. Thank you. ❤
